That's the point. She has what's most likely a terminal illness (mitochondrial disease) and she's using up valuable resources. If she were a jew and or wealthy, they'd be falling all over themselves to offer whatever life prolonging treatments available.
The fact the kid says she wants to live should be enough. The fact they won't allow the family to speak out about this injustice is an absolute crime against humanity. Holocaust? Right here. Right now. This is your holocaust.

The court literally decided that this poor girl is fucking insane because she doesn't believe the doctors that tell her there's no hope and that this experimental treatment isn't worth trying.
Having questions about medicine in the UK gets you marked as insane and incapable of making decisions for yourself, and the fucking state kidnaps you or otherwise just fails you...
