Just an update, I've spoken with the data opt out team this morning, they tell me that there had been some mis information circulating, according to them there is no hard and fast date for opt outs to be completed(I think I already have it in place with my GP) , they are sending me a form so that I can be doubly certain I am opted out of everything.

Yes, yes it is. I believe there an online one also, I can for all that shit though. Make it as difficult and expensive as possible for them.
