Okay, luxury goods retail: GF works in that space.

All the managers had a loss prevention meeting to review all the thefts in the prior year. It was an "all hands" meeting because loss prevention leadership wanted the managers to do a better job. They were required to review all 56 videos of theft in their district and explain why the thief got away with the goods. Kind of like a hands on training exercise. They categorized each theft by the "theft type and loss prevention rule violation type." Pretty cool training session. Anyway, down to the funny part:

54 of the thieves were black.

The other 2 were Latino (it was an older Latino couple that ran distraction schemes and their method was the most sophisticated, by far: they were professional thieves).

I lol'd at these figures.

Now, I'm not saying that black people steal almost all the stuff. But they do still a ridiculously disproportionate amount of stuff compared to other races.
