BBC is not "worried" -- they just want you to think that

SIgnal has been compromised. How do I know? They've removed it from FOSS app stores like F-Droid. Singal (previously TextSecure) was originally hosted on F-Droid because it was a legitimate open-source project. They've removed it. This is ONLY done with open source project when they have been compromised. You can only get signal now through Google Play store (compiled by Google) or from the Apple App Store (compiled by Apple).

If you know anything about security, you know that getting a "secure" app from the Google/Apple store is the same as full transparency. All Signal messages are routed through Google's/Apple's messaging servers before they are sent off. End-to-End encryption doesn't mean shit if the middle man has your private key.

Bear this in mind.
