Police have arrested eight people - six men and two women - after two males in their 20s suffered serious stab wounds in Summer Lane, near the city centre. Officers were called the scene shortly before 5am on Saturday morning following reports of widespread trouble. Both victims were rushed to hospital and remain in a serious but stable condition. West Midlands Police arrested eight suspects, all aged between 19 and 24, on suspicion of violent disorder and wounding and they have been bailed.
