Newly obtained memos show that the US Department of Justice (DOJ), under former president Joe Biden, targeted parents at school board meetings despite warnings from FBI officials and a sheriffs association.
Just the News reports that the conservative nonprofit America First Legal (AFL) acquired the documents as part of its ongoing lawsuit related to an October 4, 2021 memorandum from former Attorney General Merrick Garland that targeted concerned parents at school board meetings.
The Garland memorandum was released despite “some concern” by FBI Deputy Assistant Director Jay Greenberg. Additionally, the National Sheriffs’ Association stated that their sheriffs had “not heard any concerns about threats to local school boards.”
