Isn't this the same as any other gubbmint employee? They get "paid" after the shutdown?

Take those checks away completely, then I'll pay attention.

Yeah. Good point. Not only do they not get paid while it is shut down. They don't get "back checks" for the entire time it was shut down. Otherwise they will just keep it shut down anyway. They are all millionaires and don't need it.
