The SAVE America Act will soon have its moment on the Senate floor. When it does, will the GOP allow something like the filibuster to hold up progress? Republicans have been reluctant to change the decades-old Senate rule. But even staunch filibuster defender John Cornyn of Texas is now saying to nuke it. Is his change of heart just a fluke or a sign of things to come?

1) Cornyn is only trying to cover his ass to get the Trump endorsement. Once he has it, he'll be back to his Democrat ways. 2) Thune is supposedly bringing the Save America Act to the Senate floor subject to a 60-vote cloture rule, meaning they know it won't pass so any and all "Republicans" can vote for it and it will fail. But they can say "We tried."

I agree completely. Hence the flair.
