I saw that, and I don't blame her. I'd do the same if I was quitting a job. It's only like 9k a year in benefits is what I read. She hasn't paid that much into FERS.

Yeah I don't know if she's really getting a pension per say or if it is just distributions from FERS, which is simply social security for government employees.
Free healthcare for life….most of us pay more than 9k a year for that.
