This reminded me to look up the DNC v RNC "consent decree" where the RNC agreed to be losers for decades and allow DNC to do whatever they wanted in voting rules from the 1980s to 2017 due to federal judges extending the 'consent decree' whether RNC consented or not. Idiot RNC solidified the uniparty thru giving DNC everything they wanted in ballot and voting games. I can only hope that we actually move to a two party system.
