LOL!!!, the left will have to seethe and cope in fear that this might happen! Then seethe and cope 4 more years if it does happen!

Former White House chief strategist Steven K. Bannon, arguably the leader of the MAGA movement’s grassroots right wing, has confidently asserted that President Donald Trump will ultimately find a way to circumvent America’s constitutional two-term limit and seek re-election in 2028.

Bannon, host of the highly influential War Room podcast, made this controversial statement during an interview with former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on NewsNation on Wednesday, March 19.

Although the 22nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution clearly prohibits any individual from being elected to the presidency more than twice, Bannon nonetheless asserts that Trump could potentially secure a third term.

“I’m a firm believer that President Trump will run again in 2028. I’ve already endorsed President Trump,” Bannon, the media executive, political strategist, and former investment bank, stated. . .

I can see one path where it could become a serious legal consideration

That strikes me as hopium, but I'm not going to tell you how to think.

My point still stands, however. Opening that can of worms would be a disaster. Every time you give the president or congress more power you need to think about how it ill be used as soon as someone you don't like gets their hands on it. We need to be limiting the federal government MORE, not creating another opportunity for abuse.

Hell, I'd like to see the Constitution amended to allow for only one six-year term for President and Vice President, including the limitation that anyone who holds those offices can't hold them again.

It would be a constitutionally unique situation that SCOTUS would need to decide. But, that will be the situation after The Steal and Resident Biden are adjucated (a prerequisite for this constitutional situation).

I'd love to see term limits in the House and Senate.

Again, I am not gong to hold my breath waiting for that.
