Oh, I disagree. There are plenty of private sector jobs specializing in fraud and customer abuse. Just keep looking and you're particular skill set will be of great use working customer support for Time Warner Cable or sales at any buy-here-pay-here lot. "Fraud, waste, and abuse" is definitely a transferrable skill.
Maybe he can "learn to code" that's what they told the 50 year old coal miners that don't have many transferrable skills.

So the biologists are complaining that they don’t produce anything that is useful for at least 20 years, and that their skill sets don’t translate to anything people actually need today. But we, the taxpayers, should totally keep throwing money at them regardless of the trillions in debt we have.
For being brilliant biologists, they seem to be incredibly stupid.
