I agree. It’s not just a dialect, it’s a dialect that is less clear than American or British English. They have no problem understanding us, but we can barely understand them and that’s mostly due to their lazy pronunciation.
The first thing he said is so mashed together I had to listen to it three times. He said “Peopleindiawul…”.
It was a lazy, contracted way of saying “People in India will…”
We have laziness in our speech too, like the phrase “Don’t want to.”
We rarely properly pronounce any of the ‘t’ sounds in that. We’re still far from Indian laziness. They routinely mash random words together to the point where they probably have trouble understanding each other.
