New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy openly admitted that he and his wife, First Lady Tammy Murphy, are personally harboring an illegal immigrant in their own home—practically daring federal authorities to step in.
During a recent event with Blue Wave New Jersey, Murphy nonchalantly revealed that an individual whose “immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to” is currently residing above his garage.
Murphy’s comments came during a broader discussion about the new Trump administration’s policies. While refusing to disclose specific details, the governor made his position clear:
“Tammy and I were talking about, I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there’s someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to. We said, you know what? Let’s have her live at our house above our garage. Good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her.”
