With Collins being from a blue state I don't expect much from her or hopes of a better replacement. However, there is no excuse for McConnell and Murkowski. Those are solid red states, they need to be replaced. There is the feeling that Murkowski only won election last time due to ranked choice voting, and that Kelly Tshibaka was a strong candidate, who should have won.
At least we will done with McConnell after this current term (2026) maybe sooner if his health decline becomes unmanageable.
The thing that kills me about Murkowski and the Alaska election in general is that the state, due to the retarded ranked choice voting, was a guaranteed republican win. But McConnell still decided to send money there to back Murkowski instead of sending it to Kari Lake's campaign in Arizona where it would have made a real difference and she possibly could have won. Fuck forever be on McConnell and I hope his dog runs away.
The lack of money for Lake was intentional, deep state republicans don't want people like Kari.
