If Trump really cared about the Republic he'd issue an Executive Order declaring all previous EOs null and void.
He'd then work with his supposed Republican allies in Congress to draft legislation barring any future president from issuing Executive Orders that served to act as legislation and lasted more than 30 days.
Only Congress should have legislative power, and EOs have been used by every previous administration to get around that.
