The left would explode.

And I'd be quite fine with that! Lol!

There's no reason he can't be SotH, but he'd be removed from the order of succession (usa.gov).

I glanced at the link but didn't see where as a non-elected official Musk would be disqualified from ascension in the case of a POTUS and VPOTUS disaster. I know the (((DS))) would do everything in their power to remove him before he became POTUS. Senate would want to elect their own president pro tempore.

He's disqualified because he wasn't born here (usa.gov).

The U.S. Constitution states that the president must:

  • Be a natural-born citizen of the United States
  • Be at least 35 years old
  • Have been a resident of the United States for 14 years

That didn't stop obama.

True. I wasn't looking at it from that angle in my response, was only considering the unelected Speaker ascension and how it might be thwarted.

He isn’t qualified to be president, not being born of natural citizens. Harris was not qualified to be VP, for same reason.

Good points. I wasn't looking at the proposition from the natural born American citizen perspective (wrt Elon). The Kamala issue always had me scratching my head but (((Republicans))) didn't raise any stink over those facts after she was nominated by (((DNC))) to run for POTUS.

... and Supreme Court Justice (you do not have to be a lawyer or judge)

Has any non lawyer/judge ever successfully navigated that route through Senate approval? I'd think it would be near impossible in todays political environment. I shudder to think what it could be like with a few non-lawyer/judge types in SCOTUS. Imagine 3 AOCs on the bench. We'd be doomed.

Supreme Court nominees are thoroughbred to get through confirmation these days. Ivy League, supreme Court clerk assignment, no record of judicial activism, they all look like sleepers.
