As the old oil industry term goes: rockets and feathers. Prices shoot up like rockets and come down like feathers. But it's okay because Trump's tariffs are the real problem that people will complain about even though the manufacturers and sellers have been increasing the prices for any reason for damned near forever.
People don't seem to remember back in 2005 when grocery prices shot up due to hurricane Katrina and Deep Water Horizon making diesel fuel expensive. The manufacturers and sellers passed those diesel prices onto the customer. The only way to get the prices down now is to change the tax code (or remove it) and make it so that more profits = more tax burden for them. They just have too much incentive to keep raising food prices and Trump won't touch the (((IRS))) and the (((Fed))) to fix it. zog wins again.
