The only upside I can see is that Gaetz can broadcast truth and explain future declassifications coming out of the Trump administration to the normies. It seems weak compared to other positions I thought he would have. Other notable journalists could be doing this, it doesn't require Gaetz to participate as show host in order to bring truth to the normies.

And they could do it better. Gaetz should have stayed in the House. He must have felt their ethics report was damaging enough that he needed to resign to stop its release. That itself is worrisome.

If there was any truth to hurt Gaetz in the ethics report, I'm sure the (((DS))) would have bludgeoned him with the info much earlier ... or it would at least be leaking out now. The (((UniParty))) hates Gaetz, either "side" would love to backstab him, so he's got to be a good guy who is a huge danger to (((them))). Gaetz was probably smart to step out of the foray while Trump's other nominees are being vetted. If Gaetz remained to be confirmed, they and (((MSM))) would have expanded their narratives to exploit any half truths and falsehoods they could think of to create a huge stink in the court of public opinion in order to trip up Trump and his other cabinet picks. Trump/Gaetz took that play away from them after they expended resources to target Gaetz for the wrap up smear while virtually ignoring Trump's other picks at that time.
IDK. I'm disappointed that Gaetz will be with OAN, I think he would be more useful in government. I remind myself not to underestimate him, he and Trump have a plan and I'm sure it will be effective in ways I have yet to visualize. They are/were privy to classified info that I am not. I'm just armchair quarterbacking with what I think I know.

Agree. It isn't like there is a shortage of talking heads, but who knows maybe I'll be proven wrong and he's actually really good at it.
