Yes. McConnell fought him on many things he wanted as did Paul Ryan (Speaker). Trump had little to no support from the GOPe other than nominating judges. MAGA had a very small effect on the House.
Now Trump is the GOP king maker, runs the RNC, Paul Ryan is out, McConnell retiring, Pelosi is gone, Schiff will not have a Chair position in the Senate. Trump has the House, Senate and a Mandate from We The People.
The landscape looks much more favorable to Trump and MAGA.
