I think it is

  1. Harris is a worse candidate than they thought she'd be. Even with full MSM support they can't make her viable.
  2. It will be harder for them to cheat this time.

Not saying Trump doesn't like that jew dick, but I do think the machine would prefer Harris.

They were put in a bad position when Biden decided to run again, so instead of a real primary where they could have fleshed out a better puppet they had to go with Harris at the last minute.
