Harrowing video shows dozens of riot cops enforcing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s curfew order spreading out in a Minneapolis neighborhood and peppering residents with paintballs while they stood on their porches and in their front doorways.

The newly resurfaced clip, filmed May 30, 2020, by Tanya Kersson just outside her home, resembles a scene from a dystopian movie. It shows a tan Humvee rolling slowly down a quiet street in the Whittier neighborhood, followed by at least 25 heavily armored cops.

Crazy to me that people still think cops will uphold the constitution. They care about power over people and their pension more than a 250 year old piece of paper.

I always tell people that it won't be the Army or Air Force we have to worry about. It will be the heavily-militarized police departments who just love the idea of being badass and kicking down doors.

I don't think most cops would do this kind of garbage. There is a big difference between blue city police and say red state Sheriffs. Being in the fire service I can tell you that I work with our local sheriffs deputies quite often and I know they would never act like this. I live in a very blue state by the way, but in a pretty red section of it.

I don't see cops refusing to do things like this. They seem to love the power of forcing people to do things whether they are constitutional or not. In this particular video they yell "Light em up!" and fire paintballs at people on their porches. Maybe sheriff's offices are different.
