Deported? If they steal the flag they should get a jail term for stealing. But if you're burning your own flag, that IS freedom of protest you fucking moron! You may not like it, but you should defend other peoples' rights to speech.

If a city doesn't like it, they could arrest someone for illegally starting a fire, but it should be a small fine similar to grilling in a non-grilling area in a park. It shouldn't be made into a political thing.

A physical act is not the same thing as speaking ones mind. Burning what is universally known as the symbol of ones country should bring on very serious consequenses.
