He was accused a citing an insurrection, not convicted. That is a critical distinction they didn't even consider when making this ruling, and there must be some other J6 issues they wanted to avoid.
As expected. Now watch Dems throw more animus at SCOTUS, like clockwork.
tl;dr -- States don't get to decide who is disqualified as an insurrectionist. The end, unanimous decision.
This just takes way their "super easy" button. They still have their "easy" buttons with dead people voting, miscounts, voting machine "glitches", and so on.
