I have always thought that Schiff's face and eyes look like a perfect artistic study of what a former human looks like after selling their soul to Satan. "The eyes are the windows to the soul." And looking into his eyes is like looking into the curtainless windows of an empty house. There's nothing there. His actions over the years have given me no reason to doubt that assessment.
