Yeah like pro gun states listen to fools and charlatans. Shove your political bullshit up your ass. It's not the dealers but the people that steal legal guns and sell them to other criminals that is the problem. Make it so a non legally purchased firearm aka stolen are given 20 years mandatory prison sentences if used in a crime. That would make it stop really quick when they realize that having that weapon can give them more time than a murder charge and it's mandatory also.
Someone like Murphy would never consider what you're suggesting. That would be too close to actual common sense gun legislation. Cracking down on illegally-possessed handguns would have too much of a potitive effect, limiting the the ability of gub grabbers to... well... grab guns.
