Go check out the (highly edited but still relevant) youtube vids where they walk the streets and ask random people questions an elementary level child should know about the country in which they live. No one cares about politics, by design, so the oligarchs are free to do what they want. Those that do care are labelled into groups, demoralized or publicly shamed, and the cycle continues.
