Okay so the us.mil clearly hasn't gotten desperate enough yet. The only reason they begged congress to shit-can the mandate at all is because the recruiters told them that people have stop enlisting over the mandate. And faced with the very real prospect of not having a military sufficiently large enough to serve Tel Aviv's interests anymore, they blinked. But they still aren't desperate enough to offer people their old jobs back. Give it time though. That will come. Because those same vets they let go are now telling any teenager that they're related to, or that asks, or will listen, "Don't do it."
