The military can prepare as quietly as they want. If the US military takes to the streets in this country, it's a brand new ballgame.
i really wonder how this entire presidency will be written about in history books. every aspect of optics they are throwing out at the people is flabbergasting
I know what i'm going to do!!!! I'm going to stay in my nice air conditioned home and hope everyone stays safe. so much left right division. Focusing too cloesly never fixes a life. It's focusing on fixing outside problems to fix ur life instead of ur immediate ones like eating or what is the nature and meaning of my personal inner happiness and that of those around me and what is the meaning of life. I'm going to focus on simpler questions etc. Philosophy might be an interesting but often boring ass hobby/distraction. I just don't want to be in a frame of mind of feeling bad all the time reading the news anymore some days.
Turning those people into living jokes is far more detrimental to their position of power than taking a gun and shooting at them, which only reinforces their "nazi-terrorists are coming!" narrative btw, and justifies all sorts of repressive measures as a result
A dictator needs to be scary for instance, charismatic, and beyond that any random politician needs to be seen as credible, serious, reliable, likable. Take those away from them by destroying their image, reputation, and their power over the masses becomes vastly diminished as a result

Owning the land is nothing without the culture that makes it work.
He will have starving people clamoring to rent his land most likely at absurd rates, I think he knows what he is doing.
