I can already hear it now, things like "moral victory," "we're going to take the high ground," "two wrongs don't make a right," "we're not lowering ourselves to that level," blah, blah, blah, bullshit, blah.
It's all theater, and right now the republicans are the glove to the democrats fist. Maybe those positions switch from time to time, but it's all one big show.
