I've read many responses to this story by people who say, "What's the big deal ... who cares?". The big deal is this: with each new revelation regarding the conduct of federal agencies, it is becoming undeniable that they operate primarily along political ideologies supporting 1/2 of Americans almost exclusively against the other half of Americans. They start their day with good guys and bad guys predetermined, then conduct their business of seeking "justice" only among that set of Americans determined to be the bad guys, abandoning the concept of equal application of the laws to all Americans without prejudice guided by those predetermined political ideologies.
You are already the "bad guy". Their sole purpose in life is then to prove it and bring you to justice, with a little assistance from a like minded private law firm who also coincidentally happens to represent one political party.
In the private sector, people are usually paid for their competences, and loyalty is rather optional. In politics it's the contrary; unquestioning loyalty is what pays, while competences are "rather optional"
As a result the country is run by some sort of a cult made of mostly incompetent people, and the result is evidently the trainwreck in slow motion we can contemplate everyday
Their corruption and evil has been undeniable for years. Years. We don’t need more evidence. We don’t need more data, we don’t need more clues, we don’t need more fingerprints or more testimony or more proof or more boom boom boom, we have enough. The problem is that no one will do anything about it. Do you really think the FBI is going to throw the FBI in prison?
Hell, a large percentage of the population who has been onto them for years actually thinks they’re getting secret messages from the Internet super fairy. And that we are secretly winning every time we get kicked in the teeth.
No’s going to do a damn thing.
