Our kind, benevolent, misunderstood jewish overlords know the cattle need to be taken care of. The laws are only there to guide... Does the farmer not take the milk from the cow? The cow is not smart enough to live on its own, look at all the farmer provides for the cow.

That said, the bulls, with thier different intelligence level and understanding of the world and thier place in it, try and kill the farmer every chance they get.
