Technically he didn't misrepresent himself; he just didn't add a picture of himself to the flyers while adding pics representing blacks all over the said flyers, plus a mention "my name endorsed by that guy >>> who's black btw"
It's perfectly legal, there's no false advertising
It can eventually be construed as a lie by omission... Eventually. But there's no rule or law saying you have to declare your race/ethnicity "oh btw, I'm white!"
It's a masterpiece really. It really says something about the black voters too as this whole coverage implies that they would only elect a black guy. Imagine if that was reversed about whites it would be a media shit storm.
