They don't just want to be able to tell you where you can drive, they want to be able to enforce it with absolute power.

...they want to be able to enforce it with absolute power.

Imagine the power to effectively stop people from gathering together.

This will also stop people from getting to work and make it harder to get groceries when it's all you can carry instead of all you can buy/load into a car.

I have the power to not get invited anywhere isn't that the same thing? If I am not there did people really gather?

they always use the most far positioned outlier as the reason (a murder on the run, a kidnapper on the run, etc.) when in reality they have plans to use it much more broadly and little to no oversight.

The language in this bill would allow the US Federal Tyrant Government to kill any engine, at-will.

Just because technology exists, does not mean tyrants are able to use it for their purposes. This legislation would enable tyrants to use it for their purposes. Significant difference.

If only this world could be morally civil, and behave, there would be no need for locks, cops, judges, punitive authority, laws, etc.

In a perfect world where every one is responsible, honest, moral, and holds common sense... We'll be free. Until then we have to deal with.... Well you see it yourself everyday.
