I get the feeling that whoever floats these goofy ideas is just testing us. What's next? Compensation for noise pollution to those that live near loud industrial operations? ( paid for from fines of those operations, of course!) Or maybe I special health tax imposed on certain restaurants, to offset diet-related illnesses? Even these ridiculous ideas have more merit than currency for crashers.
