If politicians did what the people wanted in order to win elections... then we would have - GASP - people who represented what we want!!! I *want* them competing to see who could make their voters the most happy. I am not going to shit on a guy for doing what his voters want him to do. I find that very strange. This fucker has fairly consistently resisted his own party when he thought it was the right thing to do. Don’t mistake me - he is still a piece of shit, they all are, but he’s just about the last guy I’m going to criticize at the moment since he’s literally giving his voters what they want (on this, anyway). Why is that bad?
