We must treat both right and left, conservative and liberal, republican and Democrat, as if they were but one single party, it is impractical, at this point, to pretend that thet are not working in concert as the servant of the same masters, and that all the fighting between them over their differences is nought but a show to placate the masses, and distract them from the true events that are going on behind the scenes, and the real players involved in them who are the ones that actually hold the power.

If a civil war happens in response to a call for secession, it will not be a split between the two parties, but between both of these parties and a third party that acts as a challenger to them, this third party will gather up all the malcontents and disaffected together and take them towards sone campaign for a national divorce type secessionist movement, at that point the country's powers will try to crush them, and they will either succeed or fail, if the secessionist are prepared to fight, able to fight, and most importantly willing to fight, then the crushing will fail, and there will be war, otherwise, it's goingbto be some time before another secessionist movement arrives, and it will arrive not in a peaceful or political form, but one that is violent from the beginning, they will target law enforcers and national defense forces, with countless civilians getting killed in the middle of the crossfire, which the rebels, if capable of winning, would write off as acceptable sacrifices for the good of the cause, this would be a "troubles" type situation, where a fight breaks out over national identity and right to leave between a rebel force and the government of a developed first world nation. Sometimes these movements succeed and the government is either driven off, allowing the victor's to claim their independence, or a loss, as seen in the "troubles" example, in such a case there will be serious punishments meted out to the rebels and their supporters, as was the case with the good old boys of the IRA.
