That’s why I carry. Cops are no longer “protect and serve”. They’re here to enforce and detain. They’re under no obligation to protect us. I’m not going to hang out and be a victim while waiting to see if the cops show up. I’d rather be judged by 12, than carried by 6.

Police and sheriffs are not the same. Police are hired by politicians. Sheriffs are elected by the public. Sheriffs actually serve the public interest, police serve their paycheck
