It would be interesting to hear this testimony,but from a legal standpoint nothing good can come of it for Trump and his people.

Politically it is a gamble. The Dems will undoubtedly play 'gotcha' with any information, twisting truths as it suits them. Is that worse or better than the optics of blocking the testimony?

I'm in favor of President Trump doing everything he can to stop and slow down the dems. Dems tried to rush impeachment and attack the President too many times. It was over a slow long period of time that the truth finally came out with info unfavorable to the left. Plus if the President gets a ruling adverse to him on privilege because he is no longer President, then that opens up ALL communications of Obama and VP Biden when they left office. Let the dems figure out how that will all work out for them.
