I chew gum at work. I usually buy a big pack of spearmint from Sams club. 5 Gum is what I usually buy.
Bough a 12 pack recently and realized that the gum has an emboss 5 pattern on the gum. Realized that the gum had to have reduced weight on it. Checked the old pack vs the new pack. A stick is considered a serving.
2.7 G/serving vs 2.5 g/serving
8% reduction in size.
And the Fed wants to say its transitory. The gum will never increase in size again. 8% in a year is massive, and its just gum.
I don't shill for silver or gold or anything but do buy physical assets that don't devalue, the number one being land.
