Primarily, "bringing down the system" means rounding up the CEOs & Executives for execution.

Alternately, isolate them on a deserted island and film it for a reality TV show.

Well... It's about fucking time. I was wondering when a leader would rise up to challenge Trump\Biden\Clinton regime.

Let's see if he calls for a return to the declaration of independence? Let's see if he FUCKING READS IT ONLINE. Motherfucker (not you OP) Read that shit online and we can save this nation. It's that god-damned simple.

What is this about? It has an extremely serious air about it. He seems to have distanced himself from his family. To protect them? Why? From What?

A few days ago, he posted a video (in uniform) where he essentially demanded that his senior officers take accountability for the absolute shitshow happening in Afghanistan. He specifically mentioned the absurdly early abandoning of our largest air force base in Afghanistan, which should have been used to evacuate US personnel in an orderly manner. Instead, the senior officers decided to abandon the base (along with BILLIONS OF DOLLARS worth of equipment) and use the civilian Kabul airport to evacuate... while the Taliban is occupying Kabul.

He got into trouble for the video, because you're not supposed to make political statements while in uniform. Well, that used to be the case- now they selectively allow it. But he spoke a message that they did not approve of, so he got into trouble, and was relieved of his command position at the air base he's working at.

This video here is about 3 days after he posted that initial video demanding accountability. The response he got from fellow Marines was mixed, but he talks about one specific officer that he really looked up to making a remark that "If he had any honor, he would have resigned". This is implying that this senior officer never respected or believed that this Marine had "honor". So here he is, resigning his commission and giving up his retirement/pension/VA benefits on principle.

Big picture- this might be the guy. This might be the leader we need. His temperament is perfect. He refuses to give up his morals for money (he'd be entitled to around $2 million if he just spent 3 more years in the Corps). He knows right and wrong, and he put his fucking rank on the table and said "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ASSHOLES?!" in a calm, professional manner. Any action that the military takes against him will make them look terrible for punishing a Marine who is grieving the deaths of 11 Marines and a Navy Corpsman who were blown up in Kabul a week ago. Those deaths could've been avoided, but in the chaos of Kabul airport...

As a former grunt, I appreciate what he had to say about the special forces. All this praise and mystique is heaped upon these guys- and don't get me wrong, almost every last one of those guys is a true badass.... but are they truly deserving of any more attention/praise/dick-sucking propaganda movies than the average Army Private going on his fifth patrol in 3 days through sniper-infested valleys? It was an interesting point to bring up.

He's not the guy. He is the kind of guy we want, but not the kind of guy we will get. At best, he would be the puppet of the guy. His connections do not currently stand that deep, guaranteed.

I've now watched both videos a couple times now. I wonder what he means when he says that no one knows exactly what he's capable of? Does he know something? Or does he just fancy himself a real go-getter?

I agree. This could be the guy. The entire system needs torn down. I'm interested to see how he goes about it.

We need leaders like him. Fuck the pigs that got us into this mess. It's greed on top of greed on top of malice. Fuck them.

This could be the guy. He has resources. He has connections. He has morals. He can't be bought- he won't sacrifice his principles to just wait out 3 more years and become entitled to full military retirement benefits. He said "$2 million", which is roughly what you'd get in pension, insurance, and various other benefits for the rest of his life. He could have had that if he did not make this second video.

He's right- the USMC would've gave him a billet somewhere quiet and launch an "investigation" which would take 3 years or so, allowing him to retire quietly and sweep all of this under the rug. But he's not having that- in this video, he says "Fuck you, I don't want your money, you all suck and need to be held accountable for the tremendous amount of cocks you suck" in a far more eloquent manner than I could.

He's a "troublemaker". You see them in any job. Guys who point out bullshit. Guys who point out "Why do you do this like this, when you could do it much more efficiently like this?" Management/leadership HATES people like this, because it makes them feel threatened. In this case, a Lt. Colonel (O5- essentially middle rank of officers for USMC) is pointing out that abandoning Bagram AFB before evacuation is an absurd, obviously terrible decision that cannot be justified in any way. This makes his higher ranked officers look really, really bad- especially since he got a viral video out about them. So now, his senior officers will do their best to make this man's life hell on his way out of the Corps, and they'll probably try to keep fucking him over after he's out for humiliating them.

If a mid-ranked officer can spot a terrible strategic decision, then the group of fucking generals who made this decision are far less competent strategists than their junior officers.
