Let's be clear here - NOBODY who has seen the Afghans on the ground thought they would last 30 seconds, the only thing holding them together were all the American babysitters and American air power. Clearly the Taliban were just waiting them out while making deals with the local warlords, which is exactly what happened last time. I'm assuming that Biden has told him to lie or lose his job, so now this is a military man putting politics over the lives of his men, he knows that all this was a stupid way to handle it and the military will have been through multiple exercises on the right way to do this, (coincidentally the same as Trump's plan). This really is a shocking betrayal of the services, Milley isn't fit to lead if he can't tell Biden to fuck off and let him do it properly. Also, why did Biden think he knew better than the military? Was there something special about pulling out this week and not on May 21st as per the plan? I can see that the Arms companies had a lot to gain by milking the American taxpayer for as long as possible, (and that they may well have coincidentally bought all of Hunter Biden's paintings based entirely on their artistic merit...), but nobody seems to be pointing this out any more
