A federal government controlled police force is the goal. Then, the idiots in DC can deploy idiots from other parts of the country and put down an uprising in other parts where the idiots have no dog in the fight other than protecting the State. That sounds familiar, almost like it happened in the past somewhere...nah, we would have learned about something like that so we didn't repeat the mistake.

Yep, this is the communist model. Once local police forces are eliminated, there will be a federal police, and if you're a cop, you will not be assigned to your local area. Pushed further, it will become a worldwide police force and foreigners will patrol every country to ensure that there are no sympathies that get in the way of unquestioned loyalty to the world government. Yep, sounds nutty, but you can see the building blocks for it if you look close enough.
