It is a scam and should have never been added to gasoline in the first place. However, if this bill passes, they will use it as another excuse to temporarily raise gas prices permanently. People with much older cars, watercraft, and small engines will still greatly benefit from this.

This would lower the price of beef, pork, and chicken too since grain is part of their feed and the grain going into gasoline could be used as feed.

It would also reduce farm runoff by reducing the ground necessary for growing crops. A whole new equilibrium would be found with lower pollution, lower prices, amd greater availability of food.
