I think their real issue is photo ID. Vampires don't photograph well, and they can't afford to lose any votes from the non-living.

Utility bills used to be only one part of what was acceptable proof in order to get a photo ID, like a driver's license. Now it's the ID in and of itself? Truly... Clown World.
