So at best, not including two weeks sick time and other perks they only work 217 days a year and on average earn $87,312. No wonder they think they’re hot shit.

Edit: ZipRecruiter reports as of June 2021 the avg fed employee earns $109,992 a year.

This probably includes their medical and pension as well. Still, that’s a good gig. If it doesn’t include their benefits package I would say add $20k-30k to that number.

Yeah, you’re probably right, ZR is most likely including medical and pension with their number. Makes sense taking the $87,312 into account. Pretty sure I’ve read govt workers do better than private sector generally speaking.
