It isn't even cheap labor, most new jobs are lower end. Even with 0 immigration, most jobs would STILL be at the lower end. Middle class job growth is declining due to increased automation and efficiency. A business that needed 5 accountants 10 years ago, now only needs 1. I am definitely part of the problem, I have automated away a lot of jobs in my career.

Yes and no. Middle class growth is driven by a lot more than you give credit. There is currently a war against the middle class. Which is the biggest driver. It's more of the same. Outsourcing and in sourcing by illegals. In this case, people brought here whereby they were illegally hired. This in turn drives down wages and again creates a glut. All jobs stolen from Americans.

The single biggest issue here is illegals. By far.
