I like how they just lump all of the different native peoples together as if they were one race, completely ignoring the centuries of wars, cannibalism, and slavery between them. It's really white exceptionalism because it's saying that when white people should have behaved to a higher standard than the savages. They can't help it, after all ... but those white Europeans knew what they were doing.
