You can make yourself out as the nicer, less dangerous, more compliant person. You can point to homeless men and ask who's more privileged. All you'll achieve, is validate their world view, in which it's more desirable to be a loser. And the problem is, that we have a culture that supports this mentality. We always look up to the underdog, the poor, those who suffer. And look down upon the successful, the wealthy and victors. Even the Christians on poal have the same attitude. It's a core part of christian culture.
