The IRS is simply the tax arm.
The IRS is outside of the government. It is part of a higher, overarching and all encompassing control structure ruled over by the most powerful families in the world. The government is an arm of these families and serves its masters' plans. The do show themselves in plain sight, but they do so in such a way that the average person believes it is the government that is in control when in reality it is being controlled. This is the hallmark of a master illusionist at work. Never show the audience the real methods of the illusion but still make them think that they know how it works.
While you're correct, the real illusion is that it's separate.
Make no mistake the Federal Reserve is only allowed to remain in power because the politicans who could reign them in (or sever them completely) are allowed to use them via targeting.
So, it's via proxy...but they're still controlled (not completely, but partially) by the Pelosi's and Jewmers.
I think the politicians are under the illusion that they could reign in the Fed and IRS if they wanted to. Anyone who even tries to do so, like JFK did, gets eliminated. "Permit me to issue and control the money of a nation, and I care not who makes its laws."
Why would they reign in one of their arms ? Especially one that's so easily used without so much as a breath of transparency of what they do (and who they obey) going on ? That makes zero sense.
Only if the IRS was a separate entity and went after them, would you ever hear about them.. You would hear about their imminent deaths though (should they speak up against them).
I think you're looking at them as being 2 things that exist in a way that doesn't benefit one another. (It doesn't). They need the other to not only exist but to flex their power.
